I have recently come across this interesting article and algorithm for generating Thread Art. With the aid of this method, you may represent an image as a network of lines joining hooks in a circle. Using Revit and Dynamo, I tried to produce a model that correlates to the conversion.
Here a photo of Jeff Buckley, one of the popular singers, is turned into a string-based model.
